Red Skelton once mused that it would be a shame if someone decided the Pledge of Allegiance was a prayer and couldn't be said in the public school. Sadly, that is now coming to pass. The liberals and atheists are trying to remove the words "Under God" from the Pledge. If the words "Under God" are offensive and have to be removed from the Pledge, then the same words will have to be removed from the Gettysburg Address. No doubt the liberals and atheists will be vying with each other for the honor of taking a jackhammer to the Lincoln Memorial and politically correcting the Gettysburg Address.
