Dear Editor,

The recent attack on Muslims at Finsbury Park in the UK is inexcusable and must be firmly condemned.  Terrorism is the threat or use of violence against civilian populations to reach political goals.   Terrorism is an unacceptable tactic and its perpetrators should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Anyone opposing Islam should realize the use of violence against Muslims is not only legally and morally wrong; in practical terms, it's counterproductive.  On Feb. 7, 2006, the British police raided the Finsbury Park Mosque and found weapons, terrorist paraphernalia, and forged passports.  That the Finsbury Park Mosque was a site of Muslim terrorist planning is no excuse, nor was the month of Muslim terror attacks in the UK in 2017 for Darren Osborne to make his attack (Revealed: what the police found at Finsbury Park mosque. jihadwatch.org Feb 7, 20036).  Muslim propagandists and their liberal enablers will use such attacks against legitimate critics of Islam.  People won't remember that the Finsbury Park Mosque had attenders like Richard Reed the Shoe Bomber, 9/11 terrorist Zacarias Mossaoui, and Imam hate preacher Abu Hamza (Finsbury Park past attendees. reddit.com).  But that will all be forgotten due to Darren Osborne driving a van into worshippers at the mosque and yelling, "I want to kill more Muslims!" (Finsbury Park Mosque attack: what we know about terror suspect Darren Osborne abc.net.au -- Australian 20 Jun 2017).

Osborne's attack is a gift to the Muslim terrorists and liberal media.  Like Timothy McVeigh, he'll be trotted out after every Muslim attack to remind us that the "real threat" is right wing Christian terrorism (Terrorism is not random Kevin D. Williams 5-28-17 nationalreview.com).
