My Fellow Monotheists

Dear Editor,

Recently some Moslem leaders have called on Christians and Jews as "fellow monotheists" to join with them to stop the "defamation of religion" and oppose "polytheism and atheism." I suspect this is an exercise in "taqiyya" (Islamic approved deception of infidels) or "kitman" (mental reservation). Islam teaches, "Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends. They are but friends and protectors of each other (Koran 5:51).

If Moslems consider Christians and Jews as "fellow monotheists" then why donít they abolish dhimmitude? In predominantly Moslem countries, Christians and Jews are treated as "dhimmis," second class citizens, forced to pay "jizyah" or "protection money," feeling themselves subdued and brought low (Koran 9:29). For more, see the article, "Wondrous Treatment of Kafirs [unbelievers] in Islam" at

As for stopping the "defamation of religion," I suspect the only religion Moslems want to protect is their own. Remember how the publication of Mohammed cartoons resulted in worldwide deadly riots? To see the "Motoons" go to the website Jihadwatch, scroll down and click on the icon of a man with a bomb in his turban. To see what Moslems think of Americans, Christians, and Jews, check out the cartoon section at Palestinian Media Watch and look at cartoons published in the Moslem world. Donít dish it out if you canít take it.

Moslems ask Christians and Jews as "fellow monotheists" to oppose "polytheism and atheism." But why should Christians and Jews fight polytheists like Buddhists and Hindus? They are not at war with us nor are we with them. But Islam is at war with all of us. As for atheists, the USA helped Moslems against communists in Afghanistan. They repaid us by using the weapons and training we gave them to form the Taliban and attacking us. If Moslems are so opposed to atheism, why do Moslem leaders like Ahmadinejab of Iran seek help and nuclear technology from Communist countries like North Korea or Venezuela? With friends like these, who needs enemies?
